Art Lande, Tim Wendel and Aaron Lande have created a vast repertoire over the last few years that spans the history of Western Music (Jazz and Classical), expands into the worlds of Mille Eastern Music, and explores the timeless place of free improvisation.

Their debut recording entitles “Escaping”, released un November 2024, as well as their handful of concert performances, make clear a high level of technical expertise together with creativity grounded in group listening, shared language and heartfelt lyricism.

Art Lande is an internationally established performer, educator, and recording artist (ECM 1973-93). His son, Aaron, was assistant concertmaster of the Greeley Philharmonic, studied Middle Eastern percussion, and is a highly respected chef in the Denver/Boulder culinary world. Tim Wendel, a CU master’s graduate (where he and Art met), has released his own feature recording “Westward You” (2022). He realizes projects with his partner, singer/songwrited Wellington Bullings, and has deep ties to the Philadelphia jazz scene.
